Happy birthday, Lee Jieun!
You’ve accomplished so much since your last birthday! Above is a small collection of moments representing that. You became an adult, graduated from school, debuted in Japan, worked hard to learn how to figure skate, displayed your lovely singing voice through Immortal Song 2, released an amazing full album, composed and wrote several of your own songs, showed off your excellent popping & shuffling dance skills, celebrated (over) one year as an Inkigayo MC, had your first fanmeeting, filmed four stunning music videos, added to your acting resume, won well-deserved awards (such as the album Daesang)… the list goes on. Even when you fell down—literally!—you got right back up again, smiling brightly.
You are so genuine and gracious, and I thank you for that. I think that’s one of the things that endears people to you most, actually. You’re down-to-earth, warm, easy to relate to… and irresistibly adorable in pretty much everything you do. Additionally, you’re a highly intelligent girl with outstanding talent in various areas and I know you’re going to continue to go far. Think of how many things you’ve done just within the past year! I’m so looking forward to watching you grow even more, both professionally and as a person, and I hope for you to forever be the beautiful person you are now. Have an amazing birthday with your friends, family, and Bbuggu, okay? Eat a lot of cake!
